Henry Moore

This book Henry Moore – Ideas for Sculpture was published on the occasion of the exhibition Ideas for Sculpture’ at Hauser&Wirth London, Old Bond Street to shed new light on Henry Moore’s work.

The book brings together documentation of the exhibition — Zaha Hadid was invited to work on the exhibition display —, alongside the reproductions of sculptures and sketches by Henry Moore, accompanied by Mary Moore’s observations on their conception and making. It also includes an essay on the exhibition by Matthew Collings and one on the works on paper by Ann Wagner. Studio CRR arranged and designed the book to provide a fresh perspective on the oeuvre of the modern master, whose 'classic' modernism was seminal to the reception of modernity in England.
